Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students in a primary school setting through the end of November. In this role, you'll provide essential speech-language services as maternity leave coverage, with a schedule of 40 hours per week. Your expertise will help young learners communicate and succeed during this important time.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) considered
  • Experience working in school environments and collaborating with educational teams
  • Pediatric SLP background; familiarity with primary school caseloads is preferred
  • Proficiency in teletherapy is an advantage
  • Skills in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to primary school students
  • Conduct assessments, deliver evaluations, and update progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support students’ communication goals
  • Maintain organized and timely documentation in accordance with school requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
