In this role, you'll provide essential speech-language services as maternity leave coverage, with a schedule of 40 hours per week. Key Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) considered
- Experience working in school environments and collaborating with educational teams
- Pediatric SLP background; familiarity with primary school caseloads is preferred
- Proficiency in teletherapy is an advantage
- Skills in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to primary school students
- Conduct assessments, deliver evaluations, and update progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support students’ communication goals
- Maintain organized and timely documentation in accordance with school requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
