Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong commitment to supporting students with significant communication and behavioral challenges
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to K-8 students with severe and behavioral needs
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, classroom staff, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide recommendations, trainings, and resources to staff and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured environment to maximize student engagement
