Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong commitment to supporting students with significant communication and behavioral challenges
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to K-8 students with severe and behavioral needs
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, classroom staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide recommendations, trainings, and resources to staff and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured environment to maximize student engagement
