Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
  • Active relevant state licensure
  • Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged children and young adults, especially those with behavioral or severe needs
  • Willingness to complete safety care training
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a school setting
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students aged 5–22 in a school environment
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, aides, and other support staff to best serve student needs
  • Lead or assist with group and individual therapy sessions, adapting interventions for behavioral complexities
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports
