Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in good standing
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates accepted
- Previous experience working in schools strongly preferred
- Knowledge of current best practices in school-based speech therapy
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to students with speech, language, communication, and fluency needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student IEPs
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Offer consultation and strategies to teachers and families to support student progress in the classroom setting
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and school professional development as needed
