This school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for an immediate start and runs through late May 2026. You will operate across multiple school sites, offering vital intervention and assessment services as a rover between buildings. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid California SLP license or eligibility (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
  • Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage and deliver IEP-mandated service minutes, conduct speech-language assessments, and support multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability; comfortable collaborating with educators and families
  • Focused work ethic, able to deliver high-quality services despite environmental distractions
  • Willingness to serve students from preschool to 8th grade
  • Commitment to supporting inclusive communication and language development

Responsibilities:

  • Travel between designated school buildings to provide speech and language therapy as required
  • Complete required speech-language evaluations and assessments for students across the caseload
  • Implement individualized intervention strategies, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, aides, and support staff to ensure successful service delivery
  • Maintain thorough records and adhere to all compliance guidelines

This contract offers a consistent weekly schedule, running Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:15 pm, allowing for both meaningful student interactions and a predictable daily routine.
