Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution required
  • Active or eligible state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged individuals in educational settings is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively participate in a multidisciplinary team
  • For SLPAs, appropriate school-based credentialing and supervision requirements must be met

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language challenges
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Implement therapy sessions tailored to students’ needs, fostering measurable progress toward communication goals
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of sessions and student progress
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize outcomes
  • Educate and involve families in the therapeutic process, supporting carryover to home environments
