Candidates with an SLP-CCC and school-based experience are ideal for this position. You’ll serve students in a diverse community near Waterbury and Bridgeport, contributing to a caring multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP certification required
- Active state SLP license
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptability to serve multiple sites
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in both elementary schools
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals as part of an interdisciplinary approach
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
- Promote a positive environment that encourages student growth and participation
