This contract opportunity offers the chance to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist across two welcoming elementary schools from now through the end of the school year. Candidates with an SLP-CCC and school-based experience are ideal for this position. You’ll serve students in a diverse community near Waterbury and Bridgeport, contributing to a caring multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current CCC-SLP certification required
  • Active state SLP license
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to serve multiple sites

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in both elementary schools
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals as part of an interdisciplinary approach
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
  • Promote a positive environment that encourages student growth and participation
