Speech Therapist in Waterbury, CT

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a contract position at an elementary school in Waterbury, CT. This role is available ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY) and involves servicing two school sites. The schedule includes four days per week, with three days spent at one school and one day at the other. The caseload consists of approximately 30 students requiring speech and language support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students based on individual evaluations and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to support student communication development.
• Document and track student progress through reports and data management.
• Participate in team meetings and consultations related to student services.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
