A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification, serving at two elementary school sites in Waterbury, CT. This position offers a consistent four-day workweek schedule, providing services to approximately 30 students with diverse communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech-language therapy interventions for students based on their IEPs.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide communication support initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Connecticut.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position is based in Waterbury, Connecticut.
  • Contract dates: ASAP through End of School Year.
  • Four days per week: Three days at one school site and one day at the second site.
