A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification, serving at two elementary school sites in Waterbury, CT. This position offers a consistent four-day workweek schedule, providing services to approximately 30 students with diverse communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy interventions for students based on their IEPs.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide communication support initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Connecticut.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Location and Schedule:
- Position is based in Waterbury, Connecticut.
- Contract dates: ASAP through End of School Year.
- Four days per week: Three days at one school site and one day at the second site.
