A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Waterbury, CT. This contract position runs from February through the end of the school year and offers a rewarding role supporting the communication development of young students.
The successful candidate will manage a school-based elementary caseload, delivering high-quality speech therapy services to students in need. You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to fostering student growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing specific speech and language goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.

- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience or eligibility for School SLP certification.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Ability to deliver teletherapy services is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and school staff effectively.
