Ideal candidates will have experience with or certification in:
- Providing speech-language services in school settings
- Holding current SLP licensure and, if applicable, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Managing a variety of caseloads, including elementary students
- Teletherapy platforms, or willingness to learn
- Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates and experienced SLPs are both encouraged to apply
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing and evaluating students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for each student on caseload
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Delivering interventions both individually and in groups
- Documenting services provided and tracking student progress
- Engaging in team meetings and professional development opportunities
