A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a school setting located in Waterbury, CT. This contract role will support 5th and 6th grade students with a varied caseload, providing essential speech and language services throughout the school year. The position requires onsite attendance and is set to begin ASAP, continuing through the end of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP Certification, including CCC-SLP or CFY credentials
  • Experience working within school environments
  • Competent in managing a caseload of upper elementary students (5th and 6th grade)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators and families
  • Ability to present and work effectively with Clinical Fellows (CFs)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized speech-language intervention plans for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards
  • Present and support Clinical Fellows in their professional development
  • Participate actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities
