Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity supporting fifth and sixth-grade students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This onsite, contract-based position is perfectly suited for an SLP eager to make a profound impact in a dynamic school setting. The role starts ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, focusing on providing speech and language services to a vibrant, engaged student caseload.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current or pending Connecticut SLP licensure

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply

  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to create and implement individual education plans (IEPs)

  • Commitment to evidence-based intervention and documentation practices

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to 5th and 6th-grade students
  • Conduct assessments and create individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to Clinical Fellows (CFs), fostering a growth-oriented environment
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
