A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Waterbury, CT. This contract role offers the opportunity to work across one to two school sites, serving students from Pre-K through 8th grade. Candidates must be ASHA certified or hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or be a Clinical Fellow (CF). Multiple positions are open, providing a variety of school settings to make a meaningful impact.

Key Qualifications:

  • ASHA certification or Clinical Fellowship status (CF)
  • Experience or interest in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
  • Ability to work full-time at 37.5 hours per week, with no more than 7.5 hours per day
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators and families
  • Adaptability to support students across Pre-K to 8th grade in diverse school environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services to students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to school and professional standards
  • Provide direct services at one to two school sites, ensuring consistency and continuity of care
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings to enhance student outcomes
