This full-time contract opportunity, located near Waterbury, CT, involves serving a dynamic high school caseload Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:40 PM. As part of a supportive school environment, you’ll collaborate with passionate educators to foster student success and communication growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of, or eligibility for, CT Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
  • Strong background in providing SLP services in school settings
  • Experience working with adolescent populations preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy to students with communication disorders
  • Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based solutions
  • Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support language development
