This contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist interested in collaborating with educators and promoting students’ communication skills across a range of grade levels, from kindergarten through high school.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it prior to start
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or CFY considered
- Relevant experience with K-12 populations, including Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs across all grade levels
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow professionals to support student progress
- Develop goals, track progress, and complete required documentation for IEPs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to team-based strategies
- Offer support and training to staff and caregivers as needed
