Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Waterford, Connecticut

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidacy
• Eligible for or currently hold state licensure
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings
• Proficiency with teletherapy delivery models
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to plan, implement, and document individualized therapy interventions

What You’ll Do:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students from diverse backgrounds
• Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver therapy sessions in person and/or via teletherapy platforms as appropriate
• Provide consultative support and guidance to teachers, support staff, and families
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development activities
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing school-based services
