Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Waterford, Connecticut

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Hold (or eligible for) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Valid state SLP licensure
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
• Teletherapy skills a plus; comfortable using virtual platforms for service delivery
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Collaborative spirit with a commitment to student-centered care

Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within the school environment
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both onsite and via teletherapy if needed
• Monitor and document progress toward treatment goals
• Provide consultation, resources, and support to teachers, parents, and caregivers
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and district guidelines
