Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist covering a maternity leave from September through the end of November. This contract position offers a chance to make a direct impact during the school day, from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and provide vital speech-language services in a vibrant elementary setting.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and school-based documentation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to elementary students
  • Conduct assessments to identify communication challenges affecting academic performance
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Maintain clear, detailed documentation for evaluations, sessions, and progress toward goals
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student progress
  • Support a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and participation
