Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) for appropriate state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a school-based SLP position working with elementary-aged students
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to create and implement IEPs and work with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student needs and progress
- Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal policies related to special education
