School Speech Language Pathologist - Waterford, Wisconsin

Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth in an educational setting near Waterford, WI. This position spans from mid-February through early April, encompassing roughly 32 hours per week. You’ll provide creative and compassionate speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 30 students in 4K through 8th grade, focusing on articulation, phonology, and language development. The role also includes morning student supervision duties, ensuring a welcoming environment as students arrive.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid and current SLP-CCC certification
• School-based SLP experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated self-motivation and independence
• Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills with fellow staff and families
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions targeting a range of communication needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans in line with each student’s IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
• Supervise students during morning arrival, helping create a positive and orderly start for their school day
• Adapt strategies and materials to serve diverse student needs across grade levels
