A K-12 school in Waterloo, IN, is seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for an in-person contract position during the current school year. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in school-based speech therapy, pediatrics, or healthcare settings who hold or are pursuing their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with a valid state license
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Comfort and skill providing direct, in-person therapy services to children
  • Familiarity with pediatric speech-language disorders and therapy techniques
  • Completion or progress toward Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare teams effectively

Location: Waterloo, Indiana – services will be provided in-person within a school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students across K-12
  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders, developing tailored treatment plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with educational and healthcare regulations
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student communication goals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
