Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Watertown, WI

Step in to make a meaningful impact in a K-3 educational setting, supporting young learners while covering a maternity leave for a valued speech-language pathologist. Located near Watertown and Hartford, WI, this full-time contract role runs for approximately 8 weeks, beginning late October. With a daily schedule of 8 hours across five days a week (and the possibility of a shorter Friday), this position will have you working primarily with early childhood through first-grade students, plus a handful in second and third grades—all within a collaborative 3:1 service delivery model.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP licensure for clinical practice
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
• Experience in school-based and/or pediatric settings preferred
• Comfortable with teletherapy modalities
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Compassionate approach to working with young learners and their families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored for students in EC-3rd grade
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy (in-person or via teletherapy)
• Maintain timely and accurate progress records
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multi-disciplinary approach
• Manage a caseload according to the 3:1 intervention model

This contract offers competitive pay between $45 and $51 per hour, commensurate with your experience.
