Make a tangible difference by facilitating speech and language development for an energetic K-3rd grade caseload.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certification appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in grades K-3
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop strong partnerships with educators, students, and families
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students on your caseload
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine individual needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals for each student
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and documentation
- Deliver services in both group and one-on-one settings, adapting methods as needed
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
