Step into an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful impact in K-12 education as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). In this full-time, contract position, you’ll work primarily with an elementary-based caseload while supporting students across all grade levels. This role offers a rewarding blend of collaboration, clinical expertise, and the chance to foster student communication skills in a dynamic school setting.
Ideal candidates possess experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings and are confident providing services in both traditional and teletherapy environments. SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are welcome, as well as Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates. Motivated SLPAs with relevant school or healthcare background are also encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:
- State licensure or eligibility as an SLP or SLPA
- Experience within school-based or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with IEP development and execution
- Strong written, verbal, and technology skills
- Adaptability to work both in-person and via teletherapy if needed
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy sessions to K-12 students, with emphasis on elementary levels
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Support IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
- Provide interventions through both face-to-face and virtual platforms as needed
