Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist; ASHA certification preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and therapy schedules
- Effective communicator with faculty, families, and students
- Collaborative and enthusiastic—genuinely enjoys working in a team atmosphere
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in general education
- Develop individualized goals and implement evidence-based intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers and parents regarding student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports as required by school guidelines
- Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the student support process
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs
