This contract position is full time, offering a rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of 35-45 students in general education. The role focuses on delivering pull-out speech therapy services, primarily addressing language and articulation needs. You'll start just before the academic year kicks off, with flexibility for either a short-term or extended assignment through May 2027.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist; ASHA certification preferred
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and therapy schedules
  • Effective communicator with faculty, families, and students
  • Collaborative and enthusiastic—genuinely enjoys working in a team atmosphere

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in general education
  • Develop individualized goals and implement evidence-based intervention plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and parents regarding student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports as required by school guidelines
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the student support process
  • Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs
