This full-time, contract role involves working from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday, with assignments running from August 19, 2026, through June 11, 2027. There are two positions available to meet the needs of the district: one SLP will serve an elementary single-site, while the other will work across a dynamic mix of Resource Specialist Program (RSP) and Special Day Class (SDC) caseloads. If you enjoy fostering communication skills and working closely with diverse student populations, this opportunity offers both challenge and fulfillment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state license (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- School-based SLP experience is highly valued, especially with elementary-aged children
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language assessments and develop customized intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services within the school setting
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student growth
- Contribute actively to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
