School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Watsonville, California

Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. This contract opportunity offers two full-time positions focused on delivering high-quality speech and language services within an elementary school setting. With on-site hours of 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to create positive outcomes for students from August 19, 2026, through June 11, 2027.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SLP licensure and credentialing for service in California schools
• Previous experience in school-based speech-language pathology (elementary level highly desirable)
• Familiarity with handling a variety of caseloads, including both RSP (Resource Specialist Program) and SDC (Special Day Class) students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to design and implement effective, evidence-based intervention strategies
• Positive, flexible approach to accommodating diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring speech and language support
• Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Serve as an active participant in IEP meetings and submit thorough documentation
• Manage and maintain comprehensive records of services and student progress
• Help foster a welcoming, supportive environment where all students have an opportunity to thrive
