School Speech and Language Pathologist | Watsonville, California

Ignite your passion for supporting student development as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! This full-time contract role offers a rewarding opportunity to make an immediate and lasting impact with both elementary and high school students. Working a consistent 8:00-4:30 schedule, you’ll manage a diverse caseload of 45-50 students, delivering vital speech and language services.

We welcome both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and seasoned SLP-CCC professionals eager to bring their expertise and care to an engaged school community.

Desired background and strengths:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Holds current or eligible SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential
• Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in California
• Experience (or strong interest) in school settings, working with children or adolescents
• Proficient in individualized evaluations and crafting measurable goals
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively support a caseload of 45-50 students across elementary and high school

Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and providing direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consulting and collaborating with teachers, families, and other educational staff
• Maintaining meticulous case notes, assessment data, and progress reports
• Supporting students across a broad range of needs and cultural backgrounds
• Participating in meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
