School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Watsonville, California

Step into a rewarding contract role as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving both elementary and high school students for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This full-time position offers the chance to impact the lives of 45-50 students, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Your expertise will help shape communication and language outcomes for learners across different ages and abilities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• California SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress/completed
• Experience or interest in working within both elementary and high school settings
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop engaging treatment plans tailored to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy for articulation, fluency, voice, language, and pragmatic disorders
• Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and compliance
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers
