Working a consistent 8:00-4:30 schedule, you’ll manage a diverse caseload of 45-50 students, delivering vital speech and language services.
We welcome both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and seasoned SLP-CCC professionals eager to bring their expertise and care to an engaged school community.
Desired background and strengths:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Holds current or eligible SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in California
- Experience (or strong interest) in school settings, working with children or adolescents
- Proficient in individualized evaluations and crafting measurable goals
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively support a caseload of 45-50 students across elementary and high school
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and providing direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consulting and collaborating with teachers, families, and other educational staff
- Maintaining meticulous case notes, assessment data, and progress reports
- Supporting students across a broad range of needs and cultural backgrounds
- Participating in meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
