Your role includes K-12 coverage (specific grades and caseload details to be determined), full-time hours (35 per week), and participation in a comprehensive orientation from August 12th-14th. You will play an essential part in evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized programs to support communication, language, and social-emotional needs for a diverse student population.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL); verification required
- SLP-CCC or strong Clinical Fellow (CF) considered
- Schools-based experience preferred, but open to new graduates with strong clinical skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Commitment to onsite services; remote work is not available for this position
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students in classroom and small-group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams to ensure best practices
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with school and state standards
