This role focuses on delivering speech-language services to a small, manageable caseload of just 9 students, making a tangible impact on their communication skills and development.

This part-time, onsite position comprises 7 hours per week for the 2026-2027 school year, with tentative dates and mandatory new hire orientation from August 12–14. Professionals who are either experienced SLPs with CCCs or strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Skills applicable to the school setting (SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-School)
  • Ability to verify licensure at Illinois’ official portals
  • Strong clinical skills and a passion for supporting K-2 students
  • Flexibility to work onsite and commit to part-time hours
  • Positive references for newer clinicians (CFs are welcome)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students
  • Design individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress
  • Collaborate with special education staff and classroom teachers
  • Engage in required meetings and family communications as needed
  • Attend and participate in new-hire orientation
