In this unique role, you’ll support staff and conduct evaluations across seven schools, rather than maintaining a traditional caseload, making each day varied and engaging.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLP-CCC certification required
  • Experience in assistive technology is highly desirable
  • Previous school-based SLP experience, particularly at the high school level, is a strong asset
  • In-depth understanding of communication disorders and intervention strategies for adolescents
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and training to school staff regarding communication strategies and assistive technologies
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations, interpreting results and developing recommendations
  • Consult with multidisciplinary teams in all seven schools to optimize student success
  • Stay current on innovative assistive technology tools and facilitate their use for students with communication needs
  • Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to eligibility meetings and program planning sessions
