Bilingual School Speech Language Pathologist - Waukegan, Illinois

Support students’ communication development as a dedicated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist working with K-12 learners across a diverse district. This rewarding contract opportunity begins immediately and continues through June 2, 2026, offering professionals fluent in both Spanish and English the chance to make a meaningful impact in the classroom and beyond.

In this part-time position, you'll deliver both direct and indirect services to students while enjoying guaranteed hours, all without being assigned additional duties such as bus duty or parent pickup. The flexibility of this contract role makes it ideal for travel therapists; stipends are available for those eligible.

We're seeking candidates with the following background:

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Current or eligible for SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adjust services for students across grade levels

Core Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat K-12 students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
• Document progress and participate in required meetings and IEP processes
• Provide support and resources to educators and families, bridging language and cultural differences
• Maintain timely, complete records in accordance with district and professional standards
