As a Speech-Language Pathologist working with a caseload of 30 high school-aged students, you will play a vital role in fostering communication and learning. You'll collaborate closely with dedicated educators and staff, ensuring every student's voice is heard and supported. The work schedule is flexible, with your choice of an 8:00am to 3:30pm or a 7:30am to 3:00pm day.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in a school setting, specifically with high school students preferred
- Knowledge of low incidence disabilities and individualized educational programming
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech and language needs among high school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families
- Provide direct therapy services, documenting progress and adjusting goals as needed
- Support staff and families with resources and strategies to enhance student communication
- Contribute to IEP meetings and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
