The role is set to begin September 4, 2026, and extend through December 11, 2026, offering a full-time, onsite schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You’ll work with dedicated staff and a welcoming student body across elementary and middle school settings.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and active Illinois SLP license (no Voco or remote applicants – onsite only)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience within school environments and familiarity with school-aged populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to address student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to elementary and middle school students
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to district and legal guidelines
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
