Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Waukegan, IL

Start Date: 2026-2027

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Waukegan, IL. This is a full time role for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you will support students in developing communication skills that are essential for academic success and social interaction. You’ll work collaboratively with educators, families, and related service providers to deliver high-quality, student-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing goals and providing targeted, school-based interventions in accordance with student IEP goals
  • Conduct evaluations, assessing whether a student's speech or language impairment adversely affects their educational or social performance
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois SLP license & PEL Certification (or eligibility)
  • SLP CCC and CFY are encouraged to apply

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
