Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for state licensure
- Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and implement therapies
- Strong communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
- Compassion and adaptability in working with PreK-12 students
- Willingness to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and track individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in group and individual settings
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy into classroom routines
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation according to district and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
