Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners in a school-based setting for the remainder of the academic year. You'll empower preschool students through speech and language therapy, making a lasting impact on their communication skills and overall development. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, following a regular school day schedule, with a single campus assignment for ease and consistency. Your work will begin as soon as possible and continue through June 19th.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for New Jersey
- Experience with early childhood or preschool populations
- Familiarity with school-based services and related documentation
- Skilled in individual and group therapy for speech/language delays and disorders
- Teletherapy experience a plus, but not required
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate preschool students for speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized and group therapy plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for IEPs and student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize support strategies
- Participate in meetings and provide input for student development plans
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including in-person and teletherapy as applicable
