Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) processes
- Solid understanding of both in-person and remote (teletherapy) therapy modalities
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to K-5 students, managing a caseload of about 45
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop and update IEP goals, and collaborate with families and staff
- Adapt interventions for students’ unique needs, using current best practices
- Organize therapy sessions for efficiency and maximize student participation
- Maintain thorough records and progress notes
- Participate in meetings or professional development as needed
