Step into a role where your expertise will make a meaningful impact on K-6 students’ communication skills. This contract opportunity focuses on providing speech-language pathology services to a diverse caseload of 25-30 students, primarily speech-only but with some dual diagnoses. The position is part-time, with on-site hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 AM to 3:30 PM, and direct instruction between 8:30 AM and 3 PM.

Your fluency in both English and Spanish will be invaluable in supporting bilingual learners, and your experience with executive functioning, social learning, and selective mutism will help foster inclusive, individualized speech therapy. You’ll collaborate with school staff and families to create comprehensive, student-centered IEPs, leveraging digital tools such as IEPWriter and Synergy.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current Pennsylvania State License in SLP
  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting, especially K-6
  • Familiarity with executive functioning, social learning, and selective mutism
  • Skilled in managing a caseload of both speech-only and dual-diagnosis students
  • Proficiency with IEPWriter and Synergy platforms is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy to K-6 students, both individually and in small groups
  • Develop, implement, and revise IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and communicate results with families
  • Adapt strategies to address a range of needs, including bilingual support and social communication challenges
  • Maintain organized documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
