Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Comfort with IEP procedures and student documentation
- Ability to tailor interventions to a diverse elementary population
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students according to their IEPs
- Assess speech, language, and communication skills and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development as needed
- Support students’ communication needs within both individual and group therapy settings
The position spans full-time hours, running daily from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, aligning with the elementary school schedule. The contract starts August 24th, ensuring a seamless beginning to the new school year.
