Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Comfort with IEP procedures and student documentation
• Ability to tailor interventions to a diverse elementary population

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students according to their IEPs
• Assess speech, language, and communication skills and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development as needed
• Support students’ communication needs within both individual and group therapy settings

The position spans full-time hours, running daily from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, aligning with the elementary school schedule. The contract starts August 24th, ensuring a seamless beginning to the new school year.
