Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Prior experience in a pediatric, school, or teletherapy setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in providing services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms, as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on a range of speech and language needs
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates with team members and families
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student care
