Step into a meaningful position providing support to K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist working in a vibrant school setting. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering up to 37.5 hours each week. You’ll have the chance to make a direct impact on student achievement and growth at a single school site (to be confirmed), with a manageable caseload of approximately 60-65 students. Expect to work on-site only, collaborating with educators and families to foster student success.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current Texas SLP license (required)
  • Previous experience in school-based speech therapy settings
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency is highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible, positive demeanor and a collaborative spirit
  • Ability to provide individualized and group therapy to K-12 students
  • Completion or verification of TEA fingerprinting (credentialing can require up to 10 business days)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in assigned caseload
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with school and district guidelines
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student progress and compliance
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school-wide professional development as needed

This contract assignment offers you the satisfaction of helping students communicate with confidence in a supportive educational environment. The role is exclusively onsite—teletherapy options are not available.
