You’ll be serving a single school location (to be finalized) with a caseload of roughly 60-65 students across diverse backgrounds and needs. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with up to 37.5 hours per week, perfect for those who value stability while dedicating their expertise to student growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Texas (required)
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking ability is a plus
- Comfortable working with a K-12 caseload, adjusting approaches for varied age groups
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEP processes
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions to help students achieve their communication goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed throughout the school year
