Make a genuine impact supporting PreK-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a full-time, contract role. This opportunity is located close to Weaverville and Burnsville, NC, and offers a chance to work across diverse educational settings. As part of this assignment, you'll manage a caseload of 40-50 students across six school sites and several private sites, supporting students without the assistance of an SLPA.

Your experience with school-based SLP, pediatric populations, and teletherapy will be valued as you provide high-quality onsite speech services. This is an excellent position for both SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY), with no educator certificate required for this assignment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active NC SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Experience with PreK-12 caseloads and diverse needs
  • Skill in both onsite and teletherapy speech-language service delivery
  • Ability to work independently without SLPA support
  • CCC preferred, but open to strong CFY candidates

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students ages PreK-12
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school policies
  • Manage services across six school sites and private locations

This contract role provides a consistent 37.5-hour work week and offers highly competitive hourly compensation between $40 and $47, based on experience. You’ll find a valued place in an educational environment dedicated to improving student success.
