What experience and qualifications will set you apart?

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure (NC)
  • Comfortable conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred, but not required

As a key team member, your responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Crafting individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
  • Implementing evidence-based therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in groups
  • Consulting and collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitoring student progress, maintaining thorough documentation, and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing insights to support student development
