Preferred Qualifications:
- Current and valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification appropriate for serving in a school setting
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with elementary students (K-3rd grade)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
- Ability to design and implement effective interventions based on student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students in grades K-3
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain up-to-date records and progress notes for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Offer consultation and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
