A professional opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing services in an educational setting in West Chester, PA. This contract-based role offers a unique blend of direct and indirect services, primarily focused on supporting student communication and language development.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 8.5 hours per week of direct speech-language services to students.
  • Provide indirect services, including collaboration with teachers and staff, assessment preparation, and progress documentation.
  • Utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques to support individual student needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all services provided.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Optionally, provide voice therapy (Voco) services onsite as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with relevant state credentials.
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with a diverse student population.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and students.
  • Ability to manage case documentation and maintain compliance with school district policies.
  • Willingness to work onsite with flexibility for direct and indirect service delivery.
