Empower young learners as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist working with students in grades K-8. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact, supporting diverse learners—including those who are non-verbal—throughout the current school year, ESY (Extended School Year), and into the next academic year.

Core Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience providing speech and language therapy in a school setting, preferably K-8
  • Proficiency working with a broad spectrum of disabilities, including non-verbal students
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, aides, and families
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for students
  • Create individualized education program (IEP) goals and deliver targeted therapy
  • Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans to best serve student needs
  • Consult regularly with faculty and families to ensure holistic support for students
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with required documentation and deadlines
  • Support students across the school building, facilitating inclusive, equitable learning environments
