As a supervisory role, you’ll lend your expertise to help students thrive and guide support staff or newer clinicians for their success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as required
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings
- Strong background in supervising or mentoring fellow clinicians or support staff is a plus
- Solid organizational skills with adaptability to flexible schedules
- Comfort working with digital platforms for VOCO/telepractice services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with communication disorders
- Supervise and mentor other SLPs, SLPAs, or graduate interns as assigned
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered environment
- Flexibly balance in-person and VOCO teletherapy sessions as needed
