Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students in an engaging school environment near West Chester, PA. This full-time, contract opportunity runs five days a week and serves students across the extended school year (ESY) and the 26/27 school year.

This role will be based at 3111 West Allegheny Ave, Philadelphia 19132, where you’ll play a vital part in helping children develop essential communication and language skills for their academic and social success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible.
  • Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting.
  • Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring.
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students’ speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs.
  • Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with district and state requirements.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and support staff on communication interventions.
  • Provide direct and consultative services to students both individually and in group settings.
  • Educate families and school personnel on strategies to enhance communication support.
