This full-time, contract position is available for the Extended School Year and the 2026/2027 school year, based at a conveniently located school in Philadelphia. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to empower students of all abilities, grades K-12, helping them overcome communication challenges and reach their full academic and social potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Hold or be eligible for relevant Pennsylvania SLP licensure
- Experience working in K-12 school environments preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Organized, compassionate, and student-focused approach
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across grade levels
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments as required
- Develop and monitor IEPs in collaboration with special education staff and families
- Maintain detailed session notes, progress updates, and required documentation
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and student support team meetings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents
- Adapt evidence-based interventions for diverse student needs
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for learners
