Provide expert support to students as a Contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming school environment near West Chester, PA. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a dynamic caseload of 30-35 students, ages 7-21, many of whom have high-level autism and are non-verbal. You’ll be the singular SLP-CCC providing direct service at one location, making a direct impact throughout the academic year—including ESY (July 6th-August 21st) and into the next school year.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Valid Educator Certificate
  • Skilled in working with school-aged children, especially those with autism spectrum disorders and non-verbal communication needs
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Previous school-based experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessment, diagnosis, and intervention to students ages 7-21
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Adapt interventions to meet diverse communication needs, including augmentative strategies and non-verbal supports
