Qualifications & Requirements:
- Hold valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or close to completion
- Eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience in schools or with school-aged students preferred
- Adaptable to working with various ages and student needs
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in different schools and settings as assignments may change
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, primarily school age, based on current caseloads and needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- Adapt therapy approaches to serve students of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Travel to multiple sites as needed to cover leaves and fluctuating demands
- Remain flexible with assignments, as there may be transitions between schools in Reading, Lansdowne, and Downington
