Qualifications and Experience:
- Active South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License required
- South Carolina Teacher’s Certification necessary
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; SLP-CFY candidates will be considered
- Experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering student growth
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy onsite
- Consult and collaborate with educators and parents regarding student needs and progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in line with school requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and relevant school activities
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education
