Middle School Elementary Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - West Columbia, SC

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certification appropriate for working in schools
• Experience with elementary, middle, and high school student populations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language support
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Deliver direct therapy services to students of varying grade levels in individual and group settings
• Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain thorough documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on student goals and service delivery
• Educate school staff and families on strategies that support student communication skills and overall success
• Remain current on best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech-language services
