Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligible
  • Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
  • Comfort with IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting
  • Adaptability to serve students with a variety of speech and language needs
  • Commitment to creating inclusive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostics, evaluations, and ongoing therapy for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student growth
  • Document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development
  • Create engaging activities to encourage student participation and progress
  • Maintain accurate logs and adhere to all school and regulatory protocols
