Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Iowa
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates welcome
  • Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, write and implement effective goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support individual student needs
  • Maintain up-to-date and compliant documentation
  • Offer support and guidance for generalization of communication skills in a school environment
