This full-time position offers 36.25 hours per week, running from ASAP through the end of the school year. You'll have the chance to work directly with small groups—serving 2-3 classrooms, each with 6-8 students—ensuring you can provide tailored attention and interventions that make a real difference.
Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license and CCCs
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with K-12 populations
- Strong collaborative and communication skills to work alongside teachers and support staff
- Ability to independently manage a caseload without SLPAs
- Proficiency in developing, implementing, and tracking individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing speech, language, and communication needs
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech and language disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development and review of student progress
- Collaborate with educators to support integration of communication goals into classroom activities
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation aligned with district and state requirements
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families, offering strategies and support
